Switchboard Relocation - Drummoyne

Pam’s home in Drummoyne still had an older electrical switchboard that had been installed well above a practical working height. Apart from being difficult to reach, the existing board was outdated and did not provide modern safety switch protection across all of the home’s circuits.

After inspecting the electrical setup, we recommended replacing and relocating the switchboard rather than trying to make small improvements to the existing arrangement. This gave us the opportunity to bring the board down to a safer, more accessible height and update the protection throughout the house at the same time.

We removed the old equipment and installed a brand-new meter box in the new position. The circuits were transferred into the new enclosure, with individual safety switches installed across all sub-circuits to provide better protection throughout the home.

Once the work was complete, the new switchboard was fully tested to confirm everything was operating correctly. Pam now has a neat and accessible electrical setup, with modern safety protection across the house and a switchboard arrangement that meets current requirements.
